Fairy Making with Sara Sherriff @wildwoodmaker

Friday 11th December 2026

£99

Come and spend a lovely, slow December day at Albion Nights, making your very own little woodland fairy with the wonderful Sara Sherriff @wildwoodmaker.

Sara creates the most beautiful hand-stitched fairies, bunnies and dolls, and she’ll be guiding you through the process of making your own.

This is a day for getting cosy, switching off and making something with your hands. No sewing experience is needed and, importantly, there’s no pressure to make your fairy ‘perfect’. You’ll be encouraged to choose the fabrics, colours and little details that appeal to you and let your own creativity take over.

There’s something rather lovely about sitting around a table with a small group of women, stitching and chatting, with nowhere else you need to be. A chance to slow down, get creative and perhaps rediscover the simple pleasure of making something just because you want to.

Your fairy will be inspired by Sara’s beautiful designs, but she’ll be completely your own.

Your day at Albion Nights

We’ll start at 10am and finish around 3.30–4pm, with plenty of time for making, chatting, eating and generally enjoying a slower pace.

Your day includes:

• A full day of expert tuition with Sara
• All materials needed to make your fairy
• Help and guidance with stitching and embroidery
• A delicious homemade vegetarian lunch
• Tea, coffee, cake and other tasty treats throughout the day
• A small, friendly group of no more than 8 people
• A cosy and creative day at Albion Nights

You’re very welcome to bring along any special fabrics, threads, ribbons or other treasures from your own stash that you might like to incorporate into your fairy.

£99 per person

Places are limited to just 8, so it will be a lovely intimate day rather than a big workshop.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or make it a little December day out together. All you need to bring is yourself, and perhaps a little willingness to play and be creative.
